What is Global Investing? And why should you invest in Global Investing?

Global Investing means investing directly in foreign stock markets, allowing you to own shares in international companies. Investors have the opportunity to earn returns from:

  • Capital gains (increase in stock price)
  • Dividends from the company's performance

It gives Thai investors access to stocks and ETFs from top global industries that aren't available in the Thai stock market. This creates more investment options, such as in large technology companies like Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft. It also helps diversify your portfolio by spreading risk across different markets and currencies. Investing in foreign stocks balances your portfolio and reduces the impact of local market fluctuations. Foreign stocks are ideal for long-term wealth creation, especially in companies with strong fundamentals and growth potential.

This service helps report investment income from U.S. securities to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It also reduces the withholding tax rate on dividend income from most U.S. securities. For example, without the service, a 30% withholding tax applies — a $10 dividend becomes $7 (after $3 tax). With the service, the rate is reduced to 15%, so investors receive $8.5 (after $1.5 tax).

Yes. All investors who want to invest in U.S. stocks or ETFs must register for the U.S. Tax Service. Only after registering can they transfer funds and trade U.S. stocks/ETFs through the Global Trade Master system.

It refers to trading U.S. securities in quantities smaller than 1 share. Investors can place orders by quantity (minimum 0.00001 shares, up to 5 decimals) or by value (minimum investment of USD 1). A trading fee of USD 1* per order applies.
